Abstract

The article examines the methods of military-patriotic education of students of higher education of the Kharkiv Professional Pedagogical College. It is analyzed how a democratic type of thinking, national consciousness, patriotic qualities and an active civic position are formed in young people. It was found that with the help of the national sport of combat horting, it is possible to achieve good military and physical training of young people. The goal of combat horting is determined - the health movement of all sections of the population of Ukraine. The emergence and development of horting was theoretically investigated.
