The article considers the problems and needs of teachers during the organization of distance and blended learning in quarantine COVID-19. The paper uses and compares the results of two online surveys conducted by the authors in April 2020, January 2021 and February 2022. It is noted that during the war distance education faced new problems and challenges: provision of psychosocial support to teachers and students during the war; organization of the educational process during missile attacks in bomb shelters; organization of distance education during fan power outages; organization of the educational process for children of internally displaced persons; involvement of children who are abroad during the war to study in the education system of Ukraine; organization of the educational process for children who are in the temporarily occupied territories.
