ADAPTIVE AI SYSTEMS FOR PERSONALIZED ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING IN A BLENDED LEARNING FORMAT

The article explores the potential of using adaptive artificial intelligence (AI) systems to personalize English language learning in a blended learning format, with a focus on the distance learning component. The advantages of individualizing the pace, style, and content of instruction through platforms such as Duolingo, ChatGPT, Grammarly, Quizlet, ELSA Speak, and LingQ are identified. Special attention is given to the role of chatbots as digital tutors. The study summarizes relevant didactic principles and provides practical recommendations for the effective integration of AI tools into the educational process of pedagogical college students.
