The levels of harmonious shaping of interiors executed in historical styles were analzed. A conceptual model is proposed, the first level of which involves the creation of an artistic image. The following step is the design takes place at the appropriate levels. Elemental level defined by elements of the composition in the interior. From the standpoint of composition theory - these are points, lines, shapes (spots in the sweep of walls or sections), texture, texture, color, light and shadow, time and movement Parametric level describes the position of objects in the interior. Fundamental level defines the rules for creating composite saturation of the interior). This is the choice of the priority rules of composition: the equilibrium (which determines the unity, subordination and balance of the elements, fill the space bound to the composition center), unity and subordination (which results in the combination of individual particles into a single whole), compositional center (designation of the main dominant element, from which elements depend on which links create a background, by dividing it into the main and auxiliary). Connected level links the second and fourth levels. Studying connectivity requires separate research. Expressive level is generalizing. The designer compares the results obtained with the design to the basis of the design of the artistic image and proposes changes to clarify the perception of the expressiveness of the image. The levels of harmonious formation of form of the interiors, made in the historical styles, are concisely considered on the example of interiors of the Royal pavilion in Brighton, that was created on the project of John Nash.
