THE PALETTE OF FUNCTIONS: COLORISTICS AS A MEANS OF ZONING IN PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORTS ARCHITECTURE

In the modern world, the architecture of physical culture and sports complexes is gaining new dimensions, where every design element matters, from the shape of the building to the interior decoration. One of the key elements that influence the functionality, aesthetics, and psychological comfort of users is coloristics. The choice of color can stimulate activity, concentration, or relaxation, and can also be used for zoning the space, highlighting different functional areas without the use of physical barriers.Purpose. The study of the role of coloristics as a means of functional zoning in physical culture and sports complexes, including the analysis of modern approaches to the use of color, examination of the psychological impact of colors on visitors, and the development of recommendations for architects and designers.Methodology. The research material is based on comprehensive methods aimed at a deep study of the role of coloristics, such as analysis of scientific works related to the use of color in the architecture of physical culture and sports complexes; psychological studies determining the psychological impact of different colors on the emotional and psychophysiological state of visitors; innovative solutions that allow creating dynamic and adaptive color schemes using modern technologies and materials.Results. The results of the study confirm that coloristics is a powerful tool that allows for effective zoning of space, highlighting different functional areas without the use of physical barriers. It was found that different colors have a significant impact on the emotional and psychological state of visitors, promoting relaxation or stimulating activity. The study also showed that coloristics plays an important role in creating an aesthetically pleasing environment that affects the psychological comfort of users.Scientific novelty. A comprehensive approach to the application of coloristics in physical culture and sports architecture was studied, with an emphasis on its impact on the functionality, aesthetics, and psychological comfort of users.Practical relevance. The results of the study can be used by architects and designers when designing physical culture and sports complexes to improve their functionality, aesthetic appeal, and comfort for visitors. Moreover, the use of environmentally friendly materials and modern technologies will contribute to sustainable development and environmental preservation. In addition, the application of color therapy in the design of sports complexes can improve the physical and psychological state of visitors.
