Abstract

The article considers one of the actual scientific and practical problems of modern psychological science – overcoming anxiety in children engaged in musical activities. For effectively self-realization in the music sphere for increase motivation learning music and the best manifestation of children’s musical abilities, it is necessary to reduce the level of their anxiety. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to the development of an anxiety correction program for children studying in music at palaces and houses of creativity for children. The purpose of the study: to develop a comprehensive program for the correction of anxiety in children involved in music clubs at palaces and houses of creativity for children by means of art therapy. The following research methods were used to solve the set tasks: analysis of scientific literature; expert assessment of the development of musical abilities of students of the choir studio; logical-structural modeling for the development of a correctional program anxiety in children; performance of tasks for reflection, analysis of products of activity of students at performance of the developed individual tasks. Results: based on the theoretical analysis of the scientific literature the peculiarities of the manifestation of anxiety of students of music clubs at palaces and houses of creativity for children. For correction anxiety, the comprehensive program has been developed using art-therapeutic techniques: technique of experiencing the feeling of time «Footprints in the sand», the method of working with anxiety «The edge of water», «Drawing doodles», «Stones we wear», the method of correcting negative states «Light at the end of the tunnel», the method of correction of anxiety «Working with salt. Drawing an angel». Conclusions: it is empirically confirmed that the proposed anxiety correction program in children - musicians is effective and can be recommended for use in comprehensive anxiety correction programs
