The article investigates approaches to the formation of professional competencies of masters of psychology in accordance with the requirements of modern higher education in Ukraine and international standards. The importance of training highly qualified specialists who are able to work in a dynamic socio-economic environment, where a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills plays a special role, is substantiated. The main purpose of the study is to theoretically analyze the Standard of Higher Education in Psychology for Masters and the recommendations of the European Federation of Psychology Associations (EFPA) for European Certification (EuroPsy), with an emphasis on identifying key professional competencies for masters of practical psychology.
