This article explores a strategy for Ukraine’s post-war recovery through the formation of resilient and inclusive communities, emphasizing the integration of inclusive engineering principles. Particular attention is paid to the incorporation of universal design, energy-efficient engineering solutions, and spatial adaptation to the needs of diverse population groups. The purpose is to develop a scientifically grounded strategy for Ukraine’s post-war recovery based on the creation of resilient communities that rely on inclusive engineering principles, ecological balance, and food security. Methodology. The research is based on an interdisciplinary approach that includes the analysis of contemporary scientific studies and practical case studies, with the adaptation of innovative engineering solutions to the specific needs of Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction and community development. Results. Key planning principles and integrated engineering solutions are identified for building resilient communities that ensure physical, sensory, and social accessibility for all population groups. The study proposes strategies to reduce environmental impact, including land rehabilitation and the implementation of energy- efficient construction technologies. Effective mechanisms are suggested for the social integration of veterans and internally displaced persons through active participation in urban planning processes and local food production. These measures are shown to strengthen community cohesion and contribute to long-term resilience. Scientific novelty. The article presents a comprehensive analysis of inclusive engineering as a fundamental component in the formation of resilient communities in post-war Ukraine, addressing current environmental, social, and technological challenges. A model of integration is proposed to support sustainable development and local food security. Practical relevance. The research results can be applied in national and municipal post-war recovery programs, urban planning, inclusive infrastructure design, and the development of local food production systems. The proposed approaches aim to improve the quality of life in affected regions, promote barrier-free and environmentally sustainable living environments, and enhance economic stability and social cohesion within communities.
