MODERN TECHNIQUES FOR IMPROVING GREEN INFRASTRUCTURES AND GREENING STRATEGIES IN CITIES OF СANADA

The article examines current approaches to improving green infrastructure and greening strategies in Canadian cities. Attention is focused on innovative methods and techniques, analysis of the role of green areas in improving air quality, reducing the impact of climate change and improving the quality of life of the urban population. Successful examples of landscaping, namely successful implementation of green projects in various cities of Canada, such as Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and others, examples of using the latest technologies and involving the public in creating more sustainable and ecologically clean urban environments are considered. The importance of partnership between city authorities, the public and the private sector in the implementation of green initiatives is emphasized. The effectiveness of such measures in reducing CO2 emissions, improving air quality, stimulating an active lifestyle and improving the aesthetic appearance of cities has been established. The importance of providing access to green areas in all areas of the city to ensure equal conditions for all residents was discussed. Goal. To reveal the features of modern techniques and strategies for improving green infrastructure and landscaping in Canadian cities with the aim of revealing their impact on the quality of life of residents, environmental sustainability and the development of urban spaces. Methodology. The research is based on the analysis of the relevant literary sources regarding the greening of Canadian cities. The results. Identifying current approaches and innovative methods to improve green infrastructure and greening strategies in Canadian cities. Scientific novelty. It is presented in a study of the effectiveness of various types of plants, their impact on the urban environment and the lives of residents. Practical significance. Adoption of experience from foreign countries and its use in the greening of Ukrainian cities.
