Abstract

The article deals with digital technologies in society and modern education, the problems of digitisation and data storage in the historical field. A review of the scientific literature on this issue is carried out, possible options and varieties of digitisation and preservation of historical data: documents, photos, letters, memoirs, etc. are investigated and analysed. It is noted that in the context of the development of society and the reform of education, digital technologies are becoming an important tool for preserving historical data through their digitisation. The author substantiates the need for further research on this issue and the practical necessity of digitising and preserving historical data in society and education, and specifically in the historical field.
