The article analyzes the practices of using simulators by teachers in physics and mathematics classes with the aim of improving the quality of studentsʹ learning and understanding of educational material, their interest in conducting their own experiments and research; various pedagogical viewpoints on describing simulators as tools for forming knowledge and skills in participants of the educational process are analyzed.
