Abstract

The article considers interpretation of Galitsko-Volynskiy period of Ukrainian history in artistic works by О. Lupiy. The features of documentary base of the writer works are exposed. The poetic, prosaic and dramatic works of the writer, which sanctified to this period of national history, are considered. Character of prince Daniel Galitskiy is analyzed in detail. The ideological, semantic and style dominants in the works by О. Lupiy are defined.
