Abstract

Constructive elements in the form of the plate with an orifice are common elements in aviation and space technology. If we have mechanical loading, there is the stress concentration in the vicinity of the hole, which can cause local destruction of the element. The possibility of reducing the stress in the vicinity of the hole through the creation of additional openings was examined. The research results of changing the stress state in the plate with the central orifice are represented for its stretching. Calculations of the components of the stress state in the elastic formulation were made using the package COSMOS/SolidWorks. Was established that additional hole at the optimum location in regard to the central one can reduce stress concentration. The additional orifices in the form of the circle and ellipse were examined. The optimum geometrical parameters of additional openings and their locations were determined.
