The article examines the role of emotional intelligence (EI) in improving the effectiveness of team interaction. It is substantiated that the ability to understand and manage one's own emotions, as well as the emotions of others, affects the development of interaction between team members, their cooperation and overall work productivity. Special attention is paid to increasing the level of EI, which will help improve communication, reduce the level of tension in the team and create a positive working atmosphere. The results of the study were formed, the essence of which is to determine the directions of development of emotional intelligence as an important competence of employees in order to increase the effectiveness of team interaction and the effectiveness of the economic activity of the enterprise in modern conditions.
