This study is devoted to the first steps of programming, namely choosing the first program to demonstrate to undergraduate or high school students for an initial introduction to programming. Since this question is always relevant and it arises every time before the teacher and the student: «And where to start?» The effectiveness of motivation to study programming was studied on specific simple programs.
