The question of the European choice has been raised: the values of education in the global and national dimensions. Current issues of the role of universities in society, strategies and trends of their modernization, namely the promotion and marketing of the university, the implementation of career guidance, career promoution of students, internationalization of education. An analytical review of trends in the development of higher education in the perspective of integration into the European scientific and educational space is conducted.
