This article deals with the problems of automated design of the inertially stabilized platforms with installed aviation equipment. The computing facilities of developing automated procedures are analysed. The features of using genetic algorithms for solving the above stated problem are given. The optimization programs in MatLab system are developed. The developed procedures are approved based on MatLab simulation. The proposed approach is accompanied with the concrete example and appropriate simulation results. The obtained results can be useful for unmanned aerial vehicles and aircraft of special aviation with installed aviation equipment.
