Ecological and aesthetic approach to the design of garbage containers in urban space

Ecological and aesthetic principles of creating garbage collection points in the modern urban space are considered. New ideas of arrangement and design of dumps and containers for household waste in the European and domestic urban environment are analyzed. Their practical and aesthetic role in the urban landscape is demonstrated.
The article presents the latest developments of new systems for storage and transportation of household waste of various types and the costs of their implementation in the modern city on the example of the city of Kiev.
Solving the problem of landfill design in the city area has a number of advantages.
First of all, this is the environmental side of the issue. Garbage will be thrown out more willingly into an aesthetically pleasing and functional trash can. Secondly - the economic aspect. The introduction of modern technologies in the field of storage and recycling of household waste will have a positive impact on the city’s economy and will require less money to maintain the system of collection, storage and recycling of garbage. Third, improving the aesthetic appearance of landfills will have a positive impact on the development of the tourism business.
