The article considers the issues of calculation of compressed and bent reinforced concrete structures in fixed formwork.
To date, there are many ways to calculate reinforced concrete structures, which to some extent ensure their reliability in operation. At present, numerical calculations of load-bearing structures using the finite element method using a computer are quite deeply developed and widely used. Problems of calculation of reinforced concrete structures are considered in the international normative document Eurocode 4.
The mathematical apparatus of fundamental methods is maximally structured. It is entirely and in terms of the components of the calculated bearing capacity of the reinforced concrete element has a clear physical meaning and does not require the use of empirical coefficients. Therefore, the fundamental methods are universal, have high accuracy and have an analytically flawless finished look. The method of determining the stress-strain state of reinforced concrete elements with sheet reinforcement during axial compression is based on experimental studies of centrally compressed samples.
A method for calculating compressed elements from steel I-beams with side cavities filled with concrete has been developed. The method of calculation according to the deformed scheme most accurately reflects the true picture of the deformation of the elements. It allows the operation of compressed elements in the elastic-plastic stage until the limit deformations are reached.
The conclusion about expediency of use of settlement deformation model which best corresponds to real work of bearing designs is made.
