The article is devoted to adaptation of the living environment to the needs of blind and visually impaired people. Accommodation for these people, its comfort and ergonomics, is a very important aspect of their lives. Home for disabled people is a "reliable rear" where they feel psychologically their security. Many blind and visually impaired are able to work, work, or just want to work at home, in familiar surroundings, where everything is the most fit and familiar. The architectural and design techniques in relation to adaptation and improvement of the living environment for the blind and visually impaired people are considered.References
