The article examines neologisms that emerged in the Ukrainian language during the war. Their sources, features of creation and functioning in the media space, social networks, and colloquial speech are investigated. Thematic groups of neologisms are analyzed, in particular military, everyday and emotional-evaluative vocabulary. Special attention is paid to the influence of socio-political events on the language creation of Ukrainians. The role of neologisms in the formation of national identity and information resistance is determined.
