The article examines the concepts of “educational environment” by modern scholars. Some of the approaches of the interpretation of the educational environment are presented and summarized in the table made by the author. The professional formation of future specialists is formed through the development of professional competences during training. When knowledge is acquired, educational environment is of great importance. The goal is to acquire and consolidate competences for use in professional activities. The analysis of aviation regulatory documents allows us to identify the main goals of forming an air traffic controller and impact of educational environment on the formation of a future specialist in aviation field.
