EDUCATIONAL SUCCESSES OF SOUTH KOREA IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBAL ACHIEVEMENTS

Abstract

The article reveals the structure and features of the educational system of South Korea, which today ranks third in the PISA-2022 ranking of the international study of the quality of education. In this country, more than 90% of young people have a secondary education, and 99,6-99,8% of graduates of general and practical schools enter higher education institutions. Such a stable position is explained by special attention to the «three whales» of development: the spread of high technologies; own study of Koreans; quality higher education.
