In the article, the author talks about research conducted in archaeological expeditions with the participation of teachers and students of the Kremenets Taras Shevchenko Regional Academy of Humanities and Pedagogy. Individual examples show how a creative personality is formed in the process of professional training by means of innovative technologies. The importance of soft skills in modern society is emphasized. Mechanisms of archaeological searches and descriptions, dating of found objects are revealed. It was traced how museums tell the history of mankind with the help of their exhibits. Research methods: generalizing, synthesis, interactive, empirical, system-structural and case method.
