Abstract

The article analyzes distance learning in today's conditions and one of the innovative learning technologies, namely online courses for basic and additional education of engineering students. The role of online education is also considered, and the types of mass educational online courses are briefly described; possible problems and positive aspects of using online education are given. The work reflects the main points and recommendations for creating a modern and informative online course.
