The article reveals the features of the teacher's innovative activity in modern conditions. It turns out that innovation is an integral part of both the methods and the content of education. The readiness of a teacher for innovative practice in order to increase the professional training of a modern school teacher is analyzed. Philosophical aspects of introduction of innovations in the system of continuous pedagogical education in the process of information content are investigated.
