Abstract

The article deals with the importance of using self-assessment tables to develop future primary school teachers’ strategic competence. It emphasis that self-assessment tables encourage students to broaden their knowledge; increase motivation to language learning; develop students' autonomy through the development of skills of reflection, self-evaluation and planning of their own independent activities. Some self-assessment tables are given.
