Abstract

Introduction. The paper investigates the essence, ways of development of the communicative competence in the process of personality’s growth, refers to the main theoretical studies of this phenomenon and estimates their actuality in the current realities. The aim and the tasks of the article are to present several important definitions and models of communicative competence. Research methods. In the process of the study the method of historiographical analysis – for systematization of primary sources and scientific literature related to "communicative competence"; the comparative-historical method – for identification of socio-historical conditions within the communicative competence; the comparative analysis – for comparing the most important models of communicative competence have been used. Research results. The base for efficiency of communicative competence is substantiated by the concern for grammatical, sociolinguistic and strategic competencies and the skills of communicating with other views and asserting their reliability in civilized embodiment of "Will to Power". Acquiring the skills of communicative competence is considered to be a result of mastering the knowledge, and skills in the field of logic, rhetoric, eristic and psychology. Conclusion. Nowadays is named the «post true time». This is due to a significant devaluation of the truth and relativistic attitude towards it. The notion of "truth" gave the way to the notion of "my vision" or "my truth" with all the relevant consequences. Media activities, in many cases, are aimed at not the true coverage of events, but at the right consumer. So, the chaos of streaming content is very difficult to handle. A modern person must come to the purpose of high-quality education, promoting the acquisition of skills of "communicative competence" in all aspects of this concept.
