The reaction of oxidation of bromobenzene on the oxide vanadium-molybdenum catalyst by oxygen was investigated, and it was found that the reaction products are maleic and brommaleic anhydrides. It was shown that di- and tribrombenzols also formed . The mechanism of their formation on the catalyst surface was considered.References
