Lexis with evaluative meaning in economic discourse

The article deals with nouns nominating economic condition which are recurrent in English media discourse. Descriptive and evaluative semes of these nouns are distinquished in terms of their dictionary definitions. Collocation potential of the nouns is studied. Pragmatic factors relevant to. evaluative meaning are analysed.References
