Abstract

The problems of the quasi-biography of the protagonist of B. Akunin Fandorin's series of works are considered. In the novel "F. M. "There are two plot lines. The events of the first of them occur in Moscow at the beginning of the XXI century. The grandson of the famous detective Nicholas, risking his life, is looking for an unknown version of the manuscript of F. Dostoevsky's novel Crime and Punishment. The events of the second storyline – a remake of the work mentioned – occur in St. Petersburg in the mid 60-ies of the XIX century. Here the main hero is the priest Fedorin, a representative of the side branch of the dynasty of Fandorin
