Abstract

In the article the word-formation system of themodern German language is investigated in structuraland semantic, functional, nominative and communicativedimensions by means of innovative derivatives,not recorded in the dictionaries. In addition the systemof word formation units with pellucid semantics, lackingin lexicological layers is covered in this research.
