OPPORTUNITIES AND PROBLEMS IN IMPLEMENTING THE USE OF SOLAR ENERGY IN MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

Solar energy has great prospects due to its environmental friendliness, economy, reliability and other advantages. Although it currently accounts for approximately 5% of the total global electricity production, its role is steadily growing. In Ukraine, during martial law, problems arose in ensuring the energy independence of medical institutions from central networks due to their vulnerability and the destruction of critical infrastructure. The introduction of solar energy has a number of features (both opportunities and problems) that must be taken into account in management and they are considered in this work.
