Abstract

Water is one of the most important resources for the life of the state. A number of social and economic indicators depend on the level of provision of human needs. In terms of water reserves, Ukraine is one of the least well-off countries in Europe. In addition, as a result of active hostilities, a large number of pollutants enter surface and underground water bodies. As a result, the problem of providing consumers with high-quality drinking water arises, because the consumption of polluted water has a negative impact on the health of the population. Water bodies are contaminated with a wide variety of substances, but the most dangerous for people are heavy metal compounds, which are a component of military equipment and ammunition.
