Abstract

The paper examines the environmental safety of Ukraine's energy sector in wartime, in particular using the example of the Burshtyn Thermal Power Plant (TPP), as well as adaptation and modernization measures aimed at reducing environmental risks. The impact of the power plant on the atmosphere, water resources and soil ecosystems is analyzed, and the possibilities of integrating renewable energy sources and the prospects for greening the facility are considered. Special attention is paid to safety measures and the efficient use of energy resources.
