Principles of ensuring conditions for the effective functioning of the street and road network of cities

Abstract

The article considers approaches and recommendations for ensuring the conditions for the effective functioning of the street and road network (STN) of cities. The key factors influencing the transport accessibility and throughput capacity of STN are identified. Methods for optimizing traffic flow management are analyzed and measures are proposed to increase the efficiency of the use of transport infrastructure.
