Coverage of sensitive topics in Ukrainian journalism: ethical aspect

Abstract

In the conditions of the modern information society, journalism plays a key role in shaping public opinion and providing society with reliable information. However, coverage of sensitive topics such as military conflicts, disasters, terrorist acts, violence or personal tragedies requires an ethical approach. The study focuses on the analysis of ethical challenges faced by journalists when preparing materials that can have a significant emotional impact on the audience.
