Interval hypoxic training enhances the protective antioxidant system of the rat myocardium under stressful conditions

In present investigation, the authors demonstrated that dosed moderate intermittent hypoxia in sessions of interval normobaric hypoxic training limits the excessive increase of free-radical processes due to the activation of organism own protective systems. This can prevent the harmful effects of such extreme factor, as acute psycho-emotional stress. Our research provide a reason to consider adaptive hypoxic training as one of the means of training people whose professional activity is associated with risk to life and psycho-emotional stress
