Abstract

The authors propose a method of multi-stage collaborative decision-making by aviation specialists in an emergency based on a dynamic programming model, which involves the gradual engagement of additional aviation professionals. The paper presents a decision tree, network graphs, and decision matrices for an example of interaction between a pilot, air traffic controller, and search and rescue specialist.
