A radio rangefinder with a probing signal modulated in phase by a noise-like process

Abstract

A range meter with an FM signal modulated by a noise-like process is considered. The basis of the method is modulation of the phase of the harmonic probing signal by a sequence of random readings. A structural diagram implementing the considered method and simulation results is provided.
