Abstract

The article investigates the mixing chambers in turbojet engines (TJE) with a turbofan attachment as an essential element in enhancing engine efficiency. Special attention is given to the process of mixing the second bypass air with the hot gases after the turbine. Modern research methods, including numerical modeling with various turbulence models (k-ε, RSM, SST), are considered, allowing for the analysis of heat losses and flow parameters. Examples of optimizing the mixing chamber design to reduce thermal losses and increase efficiency are provided.
