The microgeometric parameters of the surface of the polymer material Zedex ZX-100K after sliding friction were analyzed. The optimal sliding speed for the polymer-steel friction pair was determined, which ensures maximum smoothing of micro-roughness and improves the tribological characteristics of the contact due to the elastic-plastic deformation of the polymer and self-lubrication.
