Abstract

As a result of research, the principle of operation of a mechanical impulse thruster for closed systems is shown, which can be used to accelerate the spacecraft during interplanetary flights, increase the duration of the flight and reduce the time of the flight in space, rapid acceleration to significant speeds. In this case, the spacecraft engine requires: an electric current generator, an electric motor, and a mechanical pulse thruster.
