TRUTHFULNESS AS A SYSTEMATIC PERSONAL QUALITY OF A SOCIAL WORKER AND SOCIAL EDUCATOR

In this article the problems of social worker’s, social educator’s values, moral characteristics in the context of their professional training, further self-development, and personal self-actualization are substantiated. It is determined by modern approaches to improve the effectiveness of social work in accordance with the requirements of time, determined by the need to intensify the interactive activity of all levels, which is based on interpersonal interaction, subject-subject relationships. It is also substantiated the necessity of understanding by future specialist the theoretical and practical bases of social worker’s personal characteristics formation, their basis – truthfulness, honesty in relations with all subjects of social work. Such research methods as theoretical and methodological analysis of the problem were used to find out the essence of personal qualities in the structure of vocational training, professional activity of social worker, social teacher; methods of interpretation and formalization were used to specify the content of " truthfulness", axiomatic method – for the investigation of leading values in the context of interpersonal relationships, project methods – for forming the prospects for the development of the investigated quality. It’s investigated the essence of personal qualities importance, related to trust, the client's belief in the sincerity of intentions to help, as well as alternative ones – related to the most common forms of a social worker’s professional lie manifestation. It is argued that the integrity of the social teacher's personality is ensured by the integration of the social, educational, professional spaces of the social worker on the basis of "I-concept", coincidence of the dominant priorities of personal development. It is proved that the status of self creative basis determines the purposeful orientation in forming a social worker. The analysis of the types of professional lies of the social educator was classified as a significant factor of personal development within the framework of professional formation and further self-development.
