THE PROBLEM OF PURIFICATION OF NATURAL WATERS CONTAMINATED BY SEWAGE PETROCHEMICALS PRODUCTS

Pollution of surface waters by petroleum products poses a serious threat to the life of live organisms and the functioning of ecosystems in contaminated areas. Danger due to high toxicity of oil products, combined with the fact that contaminated water is often used as sources of drinking water. Heavy fractions of oil are settled on the bottom of water absorbing on various subjects.
The choice of purification method depends on the quantity and quality of the petroleum products which are present in water, thus it is necessary to choose the method by which you can achieve high purity. The most expedient method for removing oil pollutants is the usage of substances, absorbing oil products - sorbents. Sorbents differ in structure and character of production - it can be as inorganic or organic materials of natural origin as synthetic. The main advantages of these sorbents are the environmental cleanliness and safety, a wide raw material base in compare with low cost.
