IMPROVEMENT ACCESS TO AIR TRAVEL FOR DISABLED PERSONS

The actuality of the researched problem was defined according to the increasing general and special service dependent passenger flow. As opportunities for air travel have grown significantly in recent years, with cheaper flights serving a wider range of destinations. Problem of free movement of disabled persons is actual not only for Ukraine and other developing countries, but for the whole world. Even in the most advanced countries disabled people travel a third less often than the general public. Aviation transportation service technology providing was investigated. Special attention was paid to the differentiation disabilities types that need special assistance. According to the main technological operations air transportation was divided into separate processes identifying particularities for disabled people handling needs. Contribution of the European Football Championship (EURO 2012) to the Ukrainian air transport system development was investigated. Modern trends of airport services improvement and technological innovations implementation for people with disabilities were determined.
