The article analyzes the state and prospects of the digital transformation of education and science in Ukraine in the context of strategic industry partnership with the countries of the European Union and integration into the European Higher Education Area. The regulatory and legal documents outlining the conceptual principles, strategy and main directions of development of the fields of education and science of Ukraine have been analyzed. Information about competitive advantages and threatening trends for the system of higher education and science is presented, among which is the weak integration of higher education of Ukraine into the global and European educational and scientific space, as well as the insufficient level of information and material and technical support, which determine the relevance of the study. The main principles of digital transformation and features of digitalization in the fields of education and science are described. The fundamental values and tasks in the direction of Ukraine's integration into the EHEA within the framework of the planned activities under the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union are specified. The progress of the implementation of the Agreement was analyzed according to AIS "Pulse" sections "Education, training and youth", "Science, technologies and innovations, space". The main national initiatives and international projects within the framework of digitalization of Ukrainian higher education, professional pre-higher education, professional (vocational and technical) education and science are considered. It has been established that the synergistic effect of digitization of the fields of education and science will have a positive impact on the further development of the information society by ensuring the general availability of information and communication technologies. Software and technical complexes and automated systems capable of ensuring the implementation of digitization initiatives are characterized. The prospects of digital transformation of education and science in Ukraine for the implementation of partnership with European Union countries have been determined.
