The article examines the peculiarities of the development of giftedness in children with autism spectrum disorders. In particular, the author examined the strengths of the characteristics of children with autism spectrum disorders that can be used in the development of giftedness of such children. These include a deep interest in topics and areas of knowledge from various fields of science; sensory stimulation (enjoying sounds, materials, smells, etc.); motor activity of such children; interest in visual arts; being flooded with complex toys and puzzles; structured and routine repetition of specific actions, imaginative thinking, etc.
