The article examines trends in the development of andragogical competence of teaching staff of higher education institutions. Based on the identified trends, recommendations are outlined for the development of andragogical competence of the teaching staff of higher education institutions at the national and regional levels, at the level of ministries and departments, higher education institutions, scientific institutions, and at the individual level.
