TOLERANCE TO UNCERTAINTY AS AN IMPORTANT CHARACTERISTIC OF THE PERSONALITY OF FOREIGN STUDENTS-FUTURE AVIATION ENGINEERS

The article analyzes the concept of "tolerance to uncertainty" and presents the characteristics inherent in tolerant and intolerant individuals. A theoretical analysis of the concept of tolerance to uncertainty is carried out; the levels of tolerance and intolerance to uncertainty of foreign students - future specialists in the aviation industry are empirically determined. It is concluded that there is a lack of formation of a high level of tolerance to uncertainty in foreign students-future aviation engineers; at the same time, most foreign students have high and above average levels of intolerance to uncertainty, which indicates unpreparedness for unpredictable and uncertain situations inherent in the aviation industry.
